Well when my daughter was born she had an
odd rash the drs said was normal, but
theywere like white bumps sorta and red
aroudn them. Today she has red bumps on
her face and when I was feeding her , I
had my hand on her back , she just had a
diaper on at the time and I noticed when I
moved my hand she had a rash there too, it
is kinda hot in certain parts of our house
, our heaters are weird. Imthinking heat
rash>? And if so is there anything
ucan put on it? So far it is still
thereon that one side of her face and back
just alittle area on her back like the
size of a half dollar. Just like red
bumps and alil red around the bumps as
well, it doesnt look like baby acne I dont
think so im not sure. This week I have to
schedule her 2 wk checkup after I put he
ron our insurance temporarily until we get
the birth certificate. So eh it might be
this week or next when she has her
checkup. Just wondering if I can use like
a and d ointment or baby vaseline or
something on it?

A & d ointment won't work for heat
rash. What she has is a common baby
rash/acne. It goes away on it's own.
Babies eventually outgrow getting this
too.

If it's heat rash, dont put anything on
it. When she sleeps put a sleeper on her
with no onesie underneath and no blanket
(if you know what part of the house is
hotter) make sure she don't get too hot.
My son actually had really bad baby acne.
His doctor said to not do anything to it
and it'll go away on it's own.

Baby acne can look like a rash so i'm
assuming that's what it is. Finn had it
really bad on his face, neck and chest.
My doctor said it would go away on it's
own within a few weeks but I wanted to see
if I could clear it up sooner so I used
aveeno creamy baby wash and lotion (they
have a special unscented for sensitive
skin and rashes type) and within 2 days it
was completely gone.

Maybe im stupid but a heat rash is caused
by heat and humidity right?
