Any Others On Their 2ww?
Posted: 01-07-07 17:19pm

I'm back from my business trip. I scaled back my activities to try to sleep off this cold. It's just about gone except for a few reminders - like the coughing fit I got for carrying my suitcase up the stairs and the pain in my ear drums from flying. Now, i'm staring at that 2ww.

I stopped taking my bbt because I was on a different schedule and my temps were still a little haywire. I'll start again tomorrow and see if i've levelled off. My best guess is that last sunday or monday was my o date, if I did indeed o. I read somewhere that getting sick might affect it. Any way you look at it, i'm waiting. I haven't decided what my test day will be yet since I don't know my exact o date.

I should o between the 13th or 15th. I think it will probably be on the 13 or 14 though. I am taking ovulex this month and I can definitely see a difference already. My cervix has already been high and soft and I am only on cd9. I know I haven't o'd yet. I can usually tell when I am. Hopefully, I won't be working night shift the days I o this time.

Lots of baby dust to b and mg. Right before the o date is the fun part! Though it would be more fun if you aren't on the night shift. Wink

I'm sure a monthly blood test and u/s would be much more welcomed if you were pregnant. That has to be frustrating for you. Here's hoping you have a little bean inside.

Last month I started getting cramps at 8 dpo that went away 4 days later. I got af on 15 dpo. I think I am either 7 or 8 dpo now, so i'm already trying to figure out whether I feel any different.

I decided that I will test next monday. I don't think I can wait until 19dpo.

Well, i've started getting the early preggo/pms symptoms. My bbs are a bit swollen and tender. I also found myself slightly emotional today at work. No cramps yet this month.

I got annoyed today (actually on the verge of tears?) because I probably have to delay my doctor's appt. I switched insurance recently so that my husband and I would have the same provider. We figured that it would be easier to switch to a family plan from two individual plans if we had the same provider. Well, the provider didn't process my primary care physician request and didn't send me a card proving that i'm insured.

My first day on the new plan was jan. 7. So, while I put in a new request today, the "change" in my pcp doesn't go into effect until february 1. The customer service person on the phone today told me that even a specialist (ob/gyn) might refuse service if I don't have a card or I have a card with no pcp. Basically, to be on the safe side, I have to push my appt back. If I push it back one week to the first few days of feb., I risk going around ovulation. I read that ovulation is the best time to go from a pap smear perspective, but I also know that you aren't supposed to bd right before an exam. Then I thought that I wouldn't want to push it back a whole month if I turned out to be preggo. (that didn't seem to bother me in nov when I decided to switch plans.)

anyway, reason eventually took over and I decided to decide next week when I know whether I am preggo and have a better idea of whether i'll have an insurance card on time.

Sorry for babbling.

Hello! Babyblue, you are 18dpo? You should test then!
I had a m/c in april too, but I am only 8dpo today. I am going to a psychic this morning and she is supposed to be super accurate so I am really excited!!!
Sorry for all the insurance problems... I went thru something similar, it was so annoying. My pcp told me I didn't need a referral for infertility treatment only a script so I show up with a script get the u/s and then find out I did need a referral! Luckily they back dated it for me. But I have to pay 50% of whatever the treatments are! That can get expensive.
I hate hmo's!
God luck to everyone!

Tululabell!! .O.M.G. You believe in psychics?I am sooo into that stuff as well! A girl who just began working at my place as a temp. Is actually a psychic. She has told me so many things about myaself lately, and I see tha tshe is really good. She told me that she is really feeling positive vibes and over the last few weeks, her sense has become stronger that it is about to happen. I keep asking her, is this month .T.H.E. Month? She's like I can't see that just yet. Good luck with the psychic. I hope she has grrreat news for you!! Laughing

Well, I went to the place and nobody was there!!!!! My appt wa at 11am and there was another lady out in the hall waiting that had an appt at 10am! She said she has gone to this psychic for many years and this has never happened. So I am really disappointed. Hopefully she will call me back and give me a new appt soon, not 7 months later like before!
That would be so cool to work with a psychic! I wish I knew one.
So we are on the same schedule! Well, I will know before af if I start spotting like I normally do like 5 days before.
Baby dust for us!

As I was getting ready to go to bed, my husband discovered that he had all of my insurance information in a pile next to his side of the bed. It was a packet with all the coverage information and my health card and dental card. The health card didn't have my pcp on it, so I still had that problem. However, it turns out that whenever they mailed it, my husband stuck it in his mail pile instead of mine thinking it was his! Afterall, I did switch to the same insurance company as him.

I, of course, gave him a lecture "you saw me looking for this, yada yada yada." long story short, we had the info the whole time and hubby was in the dog house last night. I'm affectionately calling him an "insurance card thief" tonight.

I'm feeling pretty bloated today, but no cramps. My bb's are still swollen and tender. I'm still a bit sensitive today, but taking precautions at work. I'm actually feeling pretty healthy today. For the first time since before the new year, I felt like exercising and i'm feeling kinda amorous, too. :d

babyblue - you should totally test soon. When are you planning to test? I hope you get a bfp! Baby dust!

Tulula - wow, your psychic must be in high demand if she has a seven month waiting list! Too bad she didn't show up. I hope she's okay. Baby dust - no spotting!

Monkeygirl and boricua - you two must be close to your o date now! Happy bding!

Thanks shortgeek! I am glad you found your insurance info, that sounds like something my husband would do, not even think about the packet from the mail!
Yeah, I am hoping she calls to reschedule soon, like today!
I went to this other psychic a little over a year ago and she told me I would be pregnant the end of january beginning of february for an october baby. And she just kept saying I would be pregnant really soon. So last year that came and went and I got pregnant in march and m/c in april. So I was like huh?? So I am wondering if that is this year.... That would be exactly where my next o would be too. But, I just want it to happen so I am probably over analyzing!! But she was really on with other people, so hopefully!
Good luck to everyone!!!!
