Dehydration

For the past several months, I have noticed that every time I have had any water to drink, I frequently use the restroom. Two days ago, I was up every twenty minutes using the restroom, the water was going right through my system. I couldn't sleep at all because I either felt dehydrated or I needed to use the restroom. I don't know what to do. My heart seems to beat a bit more fast and I just can't seem to retain any fluids. I am a healthy 20 yr old. Could I be a diabetic?

Increased thirst and increased urination are some of the symptoms of diabetes.
But it doesnot mean that you are diabetic. For that you should go for urine test and blood glucose tests. With these tests you can confirm whether you are diabetic or not.
diabetes can cause several problems, including frequent urination, excessive thirst, hunger, fatigue, weight loss, and blurry vision.

I thought I was a healthy 23 year old and I ended up being diagnosed as a diabetic. I'm on meds now and I'm doing very well. And not going to bathroom alot like I did before. Very
Happy Just go get checked. It's that simple. I was stubborn and didn't want to go to the doctor, but I had no choice at the last minute. I got very sick, ended up in the hospital and almost went into a coma cause of my sugar levels....So it's my advice to other people just to go get checked before it gets worse. good Luck!
