Yep my bf and I are currently nearing the
end of our first month, I dont think we
are pregnant but there is still that
little bit of hope.
Was urs a planned pregnancy or an
unexpected event(i dont like to say
accident as children arent accidents)
from someone who cant wait to have a jelly
bean all of their own

Hey,
you should take your belly button ring out
cuz your tummy gets bigger the whole will
get bigger. If you dont want to get rid
of it use fishing line. I have heard from
a couple of people that used it and it
works..

When you get big your belly button pops
out. I'm sure that can't be good with the
belly button ring. I was wondering about
nipple rings and hood piercings. I'm not
pregnant, just ttc.

Not to be rude but it is prolly going to
look kinda silly once your belly button
pops out...

Your doctor will most likely not tell you
to take it out...I took mine out right
away..I was sick of it anyways...And here
I am 1 yr later and its still open. But
eventhought I took it out...It turned a
brownish color and has a stretch mark
going onto it..Dosen't look good.

Thank you very much for your replies.I
once took my belly ring out 4 surgry(it
was out 4 like an hour)and it was very
hard to put back in.If I didnt think it
would grow up I would go ahead and take it
out but I think it might. But I might try
the fishing line thing. Thanks for the
advise! :p

Hello I don't have a belly ring but my
friend does and she has had two children
and never takenit out, it didn't affect
her, so I would say whatever you want to
do, but you don't have to take it out.

Well my friend was preggy and had a belly
button ring. She didn't take it out at
all and when she finally had the baby the
scar it left was horrible. I suggest
taking it out and maybe putting in a line
of string to keep it open!
Love,
chanda

Special Belly Bars

I don;t know if you can get them where you
lot are from but I know that in england
you can get special maternity ones. You
are meant to take them out cause as your
belly stretches then it can rip the bar
out. It happened to my friend and now she
can never have her belly pierced again I
wouldn't risk it personally. I have taken
mine out nad if you end up being that
bothered by it then why not get it
re-pierced afterwards? Only a suggestion.

I put vaseline on the ring and belly
button when I get ready to put it back in.
It goes in really smooth!

What you need is a flexible plastic belly
button bar, you can get them from most
piercests, then you can leave it in
throughout the pregnancy and not get any
of the usual problems! I bought my cousin
one because she's 6 months gone!

No matter what, it's not going to look the
same after you give birth.
I took my belly ring out when I was about
three months pregnant. After I had my son
I now have a stretch mark going through it
(the top of my belly button). Not only
that, but you can see both holes (from
where the ring was) because my stomach is
stretched and my belly button still sticks
out. It's not a very good thing. Doesn't
look very nice either. But I have a
beautiful son in return. Good luck.
