i had my period on the 29th december I
think I ovulated on the 6th jan, then on
the 10th jan I went to wipe and had a few
streaks of blood on the toilet paper, like
it was mixed with my mucus but very light,
I have been feeling crampy and a bit of
nausea and insomia, do think this could be
all signs of pregnancy.
I haven't spotted since and my period is
due on the 20th jan according to the
hormonal forcaster but who knows when it
will come as I am irregular and yes my
cycle is only 22 days short this month, we
have been trying to conceive, so any
inputs would be great.

How do you know your cycle will only be 22
days?
You can't know that until it happens.
Implantation bleeding (not very common)
occurs between 7-10 after ovulation
typically.
I'd actually expect you to have ovulated
when you saw the mucus - sometimes the
cervical mucus is tinged with
brown/pink/red just after ovulation due to
the follicle on the ovary rupturing.

my last period was 22 days and according
to my mucus I ovulated on the 6th jan and
been feeling nausea for a couple of days.

it takes awhile for the embryo to implant
on your uterine wall. You would never
feel any pregnancy symptoms until this
happened. So for you to feel pregnancy
symptoms on and before 4 days after your
supposed ovulation, it sounds like wishful
thinking. It takes some time for the
sperm to get to the egg, this is not an
instant 'pregnant' thing. Then it takes
some more time for the the embryo to
implant. This can take up to 5 days.
Wait until your period is due before
testing.
Implantation bleeding is not common. It
can happen, but is not common. As I said
before, pregnancy symptoms cannot start
before implantation occurs - your
body wouldn't even know it was pregnant
yet!
