Left Arm And Shoulder Pain Posted: 01-11-07 13:57pm
10 months ago I had a baby, 2 months later
I started having this pain in my left arm
and shoulder. I went to the emergency
room, they did a cat scan and they also
did an ekg. I was informed that it
wasn't my heart. What else could it be?
I walk about 3 miles a day I cut back on
fried foods. Sometimes I feel the pain in
my risk and fingers.

HI!!
a lot of times, arm and shoulder pain are
due to issues like tendonitis, bursitis,
arthritis, and gout. It can also result
from a reaction to medications such as
penicillin, anti-anxiety drugs, and oral
contraceptives.
Best thing to do is see a specialist,
maybe an orthopedist.
Honestly, it sounds like a pinched nerve.

i dont think food nor exercise has
anything to do with it. You could have
something wrong with one of the nerves in
your enck that may be radiating pain down
you arm. Can you give exact sites of
pain/tingling that may provide more of a
clue to what nerve i.e outer to fingers
etc
