O.K... I was with a girl for about a year...We broke up and she got with another guy...8 months later, she came back for a few days which was aug. 29-31...We were back together and we had sex on the 29th but after a few days we realized we didn't want to be together...A few weeks later she ends up pregnant...The doc originally gave her a due date of may 22 which brings conception to the 29th...The due date then got switched after a month or two to may 20th...She acts convinced that since the due date was moved up two days that the baby isn't mine for sure and she won't talk to me or anything...She says she will not take a paternity test because she don't need to..Her doc has assured her who the father is and that the dates are exact..Im not dumb and i'm pretty sure dates aren't exact and a test should be taken...So my questions are....Is there a good chance the baby is mine???....Is there any way to get a paternity test without breaking my wallet???...And what in the world should I do here?? I wanna be a good dad if the boy is mine but I just don't know what I can do..

Because she proberly splet with both of you at around the same time it is a pretty even chance. Fertilisation doesn't take place on the same day you have sex sperm can live inside the body for up to 5 days I think. You can either trust her and believe it is your child or pay for a paternity test to find out for sure it will cost money but for the truth it's a small price to pay

Nobody can tell you for sure if you are the father or not. Only way to know for sure is to get a dna test

It may not be the way you want to go, but if she's already saying she won't willingly do a paternity test, then .I'm pretty sure you can take her to court &have it court ordered so she has no choice. If they originally said the day of conception was around the 29th, &that's the first time you two had sex in a while, .I don't think it would be yours. Conception takes sometimes up to 10 days. &.Especially if her due date was moved a few days earlier, that would make conception even earlier. Dates aren't always right, though. So a test is the only way to be 100% sure.

You can petition for a dna test. She can't stop that from happening. Contact your local family court once the child is born. If you're proven to be the father, child support and visitation will (or should, anyway) be arranged.
