I live in morocco, where I moved from new york about a year and a half ago. Until now, I have enjoyed my life here. A few months ago, I became constantly dizzy and got an mri. (for what it's worth, so far everything has basically been the same as in the us. For example, the mri machine was made by siemens.) the scan showed spots all over my brain. Lacking insurance, I was not officially diagnosed, but my neurologist was confident it could not be anything else, and all of my symptoms fit. I am constantly dizzy and tired, and lately I have been having some trouble speaking and walking. This is all very depressing for me, since I have enjoyed good health until now.

I don't really have any answerable questions. I want to know what will happen to me. I want to know if I will be unable to speak and move in the future. I generally feel quite isolated by this, and I want some assurance that I am not alone in this. I know this is true, but it would be good to hear it.

I was in the hospital over christmas to receive 5 g prednisone. I know I need interferon next, but it's damn expensive. Next I need a job with insurance, and a stupid spinal tap.

I am writing really just to vent some of this. The whole thing puts me in a bad mood, makes me mopey and angry. Does this ever get better? What should I do?
