SVT supraventricular tachycardia
Posted: 01-12-07 11:23am

I am 33 years old and suffer from cyst. It's terrible and embarssing. I have tried everything that the doctor has told me. I was wondering if it could be my hormones and should I go get blood work. I was in the hospital recently for an SVT attack and now I am wearing a holter for a month. It's not stress due to the fact this has been a constant problem since I was 25. I need your help. I was also wondering if it would be wise to take birth-control to help but I have heard it may not be wise with my condition. I read it might be the level of one of my hormones and with help it could be cured. Any help is helpful to me at this point

I'm sorry but I cannot help you at this time. It is not clear in this question what kind of cyst you are experiencing and what is that so embarrassing and terrible about it. You'll also need to specify the type of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) you've been diagnosed with, because some types of SVT lcould be stress related (ike sinus tachycardia ). Other types of SVT like atrial flatter, “roving” pacemaker and nodal type SVT are not stress related.
