Time is going so fast now. Im happy for you chelle that you finally get the little girl you wanted! Do u think you would have tried for a 4th baby if this one had been another boy?? Sounds like shes getting her own bedroom, lucky girl my room is purple too..Pale tho like lavender.

me too! Usually for the pregnant woman, it takes forever. Not mine! I feel like it's over before it even started(far fetched, but that's how I feel )

the only thing that will suck is that you guys won't get to see her right away . I'll be stuck in the hospital for a few days.

Kristina, i'm not ready just yet. If she came now, we would become ready over night. I don't think .Jordan is ready, nor do I think he'll be ready in 5 1/2 weeks. He tells me that if she touches his trucks, he'll smack her or put her in the corner.

It doesn't help that he's losing his bedroom to her either. Poor boy

aww,thats so sad.I'm sure after a while he'll be ok with it.He will be resentful for a while but as long as he doesn't get treated any different I think he'll be fine.

Awww!! Dont worry .Michie.... Jordan will warm up to her and eventually he'll treat her like she his lol

Someone suggested something that I think may work(at least for that day anyway lol). To buy him a gift and give it to him after the baby is born(with her there), and say it's from her. He's been obsessed with getting a "big bus", so I hope to find one before she gets here. Of course i'll get a gift for .Brian, but we'll have to explain that we will tell .Jordan it's from the baby to help him with the change.

wow. I guess .I'm more strict than you are, but I would be so upset at him saying he'd strike his little sister. I feel for him and understand that he's young, but man oh man, .I'd let him know immediately that hitting would not be tolerated.

I really like the idea of a gift though. Maybe that'll help him warm up to the idea of being a big brother.

oh, he's been told. But in a way that he won't think his sister will rule the house. His understanding is a little below his actual age, so we are alittle sensitive to that.

He shares better than .Brian does and I think he says this to get us upset. It doesn't work though. We just told him that if he can't share with her, then he can't play with the toys either.

Maybe i'm just a little too worried, but I really can't help it. I don't want him to regress with his development. He's been doing so well.

Well maybe you can just tell him he has his toys and she will have her own toys but sometimes they might have to share.You know what though mich,by the time she is old enough to actually play with his toys,he will probaby be grown out of them.He'll just have to adjust I guess.He'll be fine
