Stomach Pains
Posted: 01-12-07 16:07pm

Hi,

i had really bad pains in my lower right part of my stomach and my mum gave me some pain killers since then it has gone off and seems to be ok but I can still feel slight pains in the same place. I was not ill or feverish. Do you think this could be the start of appendicitus ?

You don't necessarily have to be feverish. In terms of pain, most appendicitis cases are associated with a constant aching, one that does not come and go. Have you had any nausea? Any trouble with bowel movements lately? If you start to become feverish or the pain gets worse, see your doctor immediately! It's better to be safe and get checked out than to run the risk of a ruptured appendix! Hope this helps! Good luck!

I would think once ya get a fever that would mean its already burst, but maybealso develop a fever due to the pain etc I dunno. Thats just what I would think
