Hey guys, I was just curious about something. I'm not sure if I am liking the opk's. If you look at my chart, (here's the link http://www.Fertility friend.Com/home/17a16c) you can see that I had a temp dip on day 12 and then elevated temps for three days thereafter. That was the exact pattern I had last month for ovulation. However, the opk detected the lh surge during cd 13 and 14. (i didn't use it until then. I'm just curious if they could be wrong because it doesn't add up with the rest of my fertility signs. My ewcm is gone, my cervix has moved back down today. I just don't get it. The opk's are confusing me more than anything. Don't get me wrong, I am going to keep doing the deed until I get a positive ovulation day on my chart but it's just frustrating. Especially since we didn't get to bd last night because i've been a little sick. I feel absolutely horrible this morning. Maybe I wil feel better tonight. I hope so. We had the every other day thing going good until last night. Which really sucks if it was my last fertile day. Anyways guys, any input would be appreciated.

Baby dust to all.

Hi! I don't think you have ovulated yet. Ff is pretty on with it. How long have you been temping for? What day do you normally o on?
The 3 temps that are after that dip should be higher than the last, I think 4 days for it to be considered a temperature shift. If you want you can look at mine. I take clomid though so mine are pretty on target now! They used to be horrible and I couldn't even read them!

I'm feeling the same as you.

This is the first month that I charted everything an the lh surge seemed later than the others. Our bding was more in line with the lh surge and it didn't work out for us.

I had a lot of uncertainty because I had elevated temps from being sick around the o date. I had a small (10 degree) temp dip on dec 30 followed by a temp rise to 98.0 on dec 31 and then 99, 99.5 and 98. I had ewcm from dec 28 to jan 1. But it went away mid-day jan 1 after a sleepless night. My lh was positive on dec 31 but barely (i had to drink fluids but I tried not to dilute my urine too much). Then it was positive on jan 1 and jan 2.

At first, ff predicted dec 30 as the o date after the 99.5 temp day. But when my temp went back down, it said that it couldn't detect a date. Our bded on dec 29, dec 31, and jan1. I now suspect that I did o on dec 30 because my temps before af were around 98 and I did start af 14 days later. Today my temp is 97.59. But why didn't the opk pick up an lh surge until after this date? I wonder if the more expensive tests are more accurate. I think this month, i'll try bding each day I have ewcm.
