How Do I Know Who the Father Is?

Can someone help me? I had unprotected
sex with my boyfriend dec 10, 2006, to
completion (meaning he ejaculated). It
was a day after my period ended, the
beginning of which was the 5th of
december.
My boyfriend and I broke up, and I met
someone new, who I had unprotected sex
with on dec. 29, 2006. After 5 minutes,
I told him to stop. No ejaculation, but
of course there's pre-ejaculation...
I am pregnant. My period was due around
the 2nd or 3rd day of january. I took a
home pregnancy test on the 7th, which was
positive. Then on the 8th, I went to the
doctor and had a beta done. It was
positive, with the number 5257h. I have
no idea what this means. Then on the
10th of january, I had an ultrasound,
transvaginal, and regular. It confirmed
I was pregnant, the report saying "less
than 5 weeks pregnant."
it was almost 3 weeks between the two, but
could it be either of these men?
I am desperate. I don't want to
terminate, but I need to know who the
father is...

It's a miracle baby.
Based on information provided:...
Lmp 5/12
nmp 2/01
approx 28 day cycle
expected ovulation date approx 19/12.
Sperm can live upto 5days in a fertile
woman
the egg is viable for approx 36 hours
after ovulatuion.
Puts your high fertility window at 14/12 -
21/12
sex on 29/12 is too late to get pregnant
(even with late ovulation) and get a
positive test with such a high beta on
7/01 so that rules the new man out.
However, sex on 10/12 is too early in all
liklihood.
Are you sure you didn't have sex again
with your ex again after 10/12?
If you're sure then it looks like you are
an early ovulator, in which case it's your
ex's - the beta would indicate this to be
the most likely outcome also.
If by some chance you were a late ovulator
with a short luteal phase, then I would
have expected a beta in the region of less
than 500...
Either man is unlikely but your new man is
very improbable.
Based on your info given and
typical/likely cycles i'd have to say it
is your ex's baby - i'd be very very
shocked to learn otherwise.

Nope, it's just that the human
reproductive system has a very special
interest to me - hence the reason why I am
back in college so I can go on to study in
gynaecology, specialising in mullerian
anomalies and reproductive endocrinology
that's twice in 3 days some called me
smart

I think you're one of the smartest people
I "know". You should get your butt over
to my babycenter birth club and knock some
sense into all the women having pregnancy
scares 6-8 weeks pp.
"how is it possible to get pregnant so
soon after giving birth? I haven't even
had my period yet!"
it drives me insane!

it gets worse, that's just the most
common. Some say stuff like "my doctor
told me that I won't ovulate for at least
8 weeks so we're not using protection
yet". Or "my doctor said some women
actually ovulate before getting their
first pp period, so now i'm scared".

Right now I am doing a-levels because I
didn't do them the first time around.
So now i'm doing biology, chemistry,
physics (with medical option) and maths
(because you have to do as-level maths to
do any science above a-level).
Then I will discuss my options with an
advisor based on my as-level grades and
apply for a course auth'd by the royal
college of gynaecologists.
