The worst is when you wake up at 6 am and
you have to pee so bad it hurts and then
you can't go back to sleep afterwards.

Tell me about it. Does your son go
*crazy* when you lay on your side? I get
up to go pee, come lay back down, &he
just goes .N.U.T.S &pushes super hard
against my side &kicks &flails his
arms everywhere, lol. It takes me sooo
long to fall back asleep because he never
calms down!

wait til after the kids born and you
*still* do it.
I do. I go thru like, 4 or 5 pairs of
underwear a day.
And oh man when I get a cold and sneeze...
Watch out. Rob thinks its funny. I find
it not quite so amusing.

i can see why that would happen if you'd
had a vaginal birth but why would that
happen with a c-section?

It happens from pregnancy, not the actual
birth. All that weight on the bladder
distorts things and causes urinary
incontinence. Lol! It still happens to
me a little! Not so much as in the last
months of pregnancy and directly after
birth! Dh and mum think it's funny too.
I don't.

well, i'm annyoning and I do the 10 month
pregnancy thing. I just think it's
easier.
I'm almost 21 weeks, so I tell people i'm
5 months. People that aren't in tune
with pregnancy have no idea what you mean
when you say how many weeks you are.

yeah, it is, but it's easier for me to
just divide by four.
How do you figure out a nine month
pregnancy in accordance of weeks?

I don't usually use months anyway, I go by
weeks, but whenever people ask how many
months I am I just divide by four. They
don't know the difference.
And i'm a nerd, every week I read a bunch
of those "week by week" pregnancy things
and it says i'm in my fifth month, I guess
they do it too.

no, what the books are saying is you're
*in* your 5th month meaning you've
completed 4 months.
When are you due? Just count back from
that and you'll have how many months you
are.
Say you're due april 15th, that's when
you'll be 9 complete months. So... March
15th=8 months (april 1st you'd be 8 1/2)
feb 15th=7
jan 15th=6
and so on... Get it?

I guess months are my pets peeves. I
like things that are accurate and concise,
with symmetry.
I really don't care about months because
they aren't as accurate as weeks.
I don't read week by week books, I go to
the websites. They all say something
different as far as what month i'm in.
Some say i'm in my 6th some say i'm in my
fifth.
I understand the difference between being
5 months and being in my fifth month,
that's why I said *in my fifth month.
Again this comes down to semantics.
If I go by when i'm due (june 2nd) i'm 4
1/2 months (obviously if i'm 20 weeks
that's half of nine right?).
Everyone uses something different to
calculate their months, I just think that
the ten "month" pregnancy is the most
"accurate" because it's more concise...
Saying that there are four weeks in a
month (which I know that that's only
february, but if you ask people how many
weeks are in a month the majority will say
4)
that's just what works for me. Neither
one of us is wrong in my opinion.

week by week by Dr. Glade b. Curtis, and
