Today I have my doctors appointment. And
my doctor still hasnt checked me to see if
im dialated I will be 37 weeks on thurday
but my question is
when should I expect my doctor to check if
im dialated, when was the first time your
doctor checked you?

With my last pregnancy my dr never checked
to see if I was dilated. Most wont check
till your due date

My doctor didn't check people until their
due date. She said she'd check me if I
wanted her to at my 36 weeks appointment
when I got my group b strep test done.
I'd made no progress so it was very
frustrating for me. Other people find out
they're 2cm and they get frustrated
because they think they'll be going into
labor any day and they're still pregnant a
month later.
Knowing what I know now, i'll never want
to be checked again! And if they do want
to check me I won't want to know the
progress. It's frustrating either way!

You could just ask your dr to check you.

date...Cuz uhhh, idda been in trouble.
My Dr. Checked me 1 time. It was
supposed to be 4 times...But little did we
know, she planned on coming early.
I was only a cm dialated and 50% effaced
when he checked me at 36 weeks. 4 days
later....Taa daaaaa!!! Oni made her grand
entrance.
It was soo unexpected, my Dr. Was out of
town so some woman Dr. Had to deliver
.Oni...Kinda sucked cuz Dr. Graham took
care of me and .Oni my entire pregnancy,
and he couldn't deliever her. But there
was no waiting!!
See if he'll check you, if not, tell him
you want to be check. I don't think it's
fair to wait till the "due date" to check
the cervix.

Ya whenever I go today I am gonna talk to
her about checking me. I really dont feel
like waiting until my due date I wanna know whats
going on lol im so impatient
