i am about to apply for medicaid. I have my appointment in a couple of days. I am pretty sure that I can get it because everyone says that it so easy to get it here in il. My sister has it and she makes more money than me. I am prolly gonna be accepted for wic too.

.There are guidelines for .Medicaid, but it is relatively easy to get approved here in il. Although it took over a month for me to actually get approved &get my medical card. &.If you are eligble for .Medicaid, .I think you're automatically eligible for .W.I.C, because .I didn't even have to apply for .W.I.C, my caseworker for .Medicaid just set me up with a .W.I.C appointment without any application process or anything.

This brings up an excellent point, ladies! Always make sure to know the financial status of your partner .B.E.F.O.R.E you marry him! You marry his debt, not just him. Child support lasts a long, long time and student loans and credit card debt can be devastating!

If you had the same income a few months ago, then the same thing would apply now. Considering nothing has changed between .September and now financially for you.

I checked the expanded guidelines for pregnant women and based on what you've posted, you are technically over income the maximum for your family size is $1,840 and that's with the new guideline limits. I also called the number for an assistance office listed in boulder, I was told that you do qualify for chp . It's a low-cost health insurance program for uninsured colorado children younger than 18 whose families earn too much to qualify for medicaid but cannot afford private insurance. You can qualify for this insurance as an uninsured pregnant woman. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. You've probably learned all this at your appointment.

Although gen is probably a bigger help than me on this. She does stuff like this for a living, it's just a small part of my job.

That's so weird.

In texas it asks specifically on the application if you pay or receive child support.

Your husband needs to learn how to pay his bills, lol.
