Just a quick question , the last few days
i've been so stuffed up it's ridiculous my
nose is red and sore from blowing it and
sneezing and such (kind of icky I know) I
don't have any other symptoms so i've
cancelled out the cold or flu because if
it weren't for my nose i'd be in tip top
shape.
My mom had rhinitis of pregnancy and I
know there isn't much you can do about it
but I was just curious is any of you
suffered from this during pregnancy and if
you have any little remedies you'd like to
share. I just want to breathe again!

It's possible you're just reacting to the
weather changes. A hot shower works
wonders on noses. I find relief whether
.I'm congested or runny.
Make sure the tissues you're using are
super super soft (i prefer the ones with
lotion) keep something warm on hand
whenever possible like hot cocoa or soup.
And if you don't feel like getting wet
(might sound weird to some of you, but I
for one hate getting wet especially when
it's cold) just run the hot water in the
shower and sit on the toilet with the seat
down. The steam will work wonders, hon.
I can't give an answer about your mother's
condition during her pregnancy, but these
are a few drug-free methods I used during
my pregnancy and again just a few weeks
ago. Hope they help a bit!

Well thank-you , yea my mom said she was
just stuffed up for 5 months of the
pregnancy and a few weeks after ,
something with her hormones making her
mucus membranes swell or something like
that...Hopefully I don't suffer the same
thing , hehe I hate a stuffy nose.
I'm off for that hot shower now!

They have a saline nose spray that was
suggested to me while I was pregnant.
With the cold out side causes the heater
to run regularly inside which causes the
air inside of your home to be dry a
humidifyer is great to have around plus it
will not go to waste after having the baby
because you will use it for the baby as
well.
