Q: Unusual?

I have been exclusively breastfeeding since brianne was born and she is 8 weeks now. I think I am already having my first period! Isn't this strange for someone who exclusively breastfeeds? When she was two weeks old, my doctor put me on a low-dose bc-pill but I only took it for two days then decided not to take it. Do you think that could be the reason I am already getting periods? Could this not be a "real" period? I am so confused...

It was not after having a child but when I stopped abruptly taking bc I had bled for a solid month. You would be better off putting a call into your doctor to double check I don't believe it will effect your nursing this could be just temporary but call your doctor just in case
