For about the past week or so I have had
"room spinning" episodes when I lay down.
It has also happened a couple of time when
sitting & I stretch the room seems to
feel like it is "spinning". I stood up
out of bed about a week & half ago and
almost fell to the floor as I could not
find my balance. My history, about 2
weeks ago was in fight (rather not say
w/who) expierenced facial swelling, left
side of face bruised. Also expierenced
being pulled around by hair with sudden
forces. Not really having any pains
anywhere in the last 3 days or so. No
more swelling, black eye almost all gone.
No real headaches(suffer from migranes).
Do sometimes expierence burning feeling in
back of head, but not all the time. Just
mainly worried about room twirling around.
More than 3 times a day this happens.
Please give me an idea. I do not
currently have medical insurance. Can not
really afford to go to Dr. Or hospital
unless it seems to be very serious. Thank
you for all of your help in advance.

i think that this is very serious.
Getting dizzy like this and actually
falling when you have no prior history of
these types of episodes sounds serious to
me. See a doctor, your health is worth
the money it will cost.

Many times vertigo (room spins, not you
spinning as with dizziness) can be the
result of fluid behind the ear drum. It
may also be more serious so a trip to the
doctor is prudent in this situation.
