There are a lot of pro life websites that
do give inaccurate descriptions of
abortion and what happens during the
procedure.
Not only have I personally had 3
abortions, I work in a lcinic and have
assisted with thousands of abortions. I
can tell you that early abortion looks
mainly like a poll of period blood, the
limbs are not fully formed yet, so there
is a huge dufference between a 20 week
abortion and a 6 week abortion.
Abortion techniques are also different
than what many pro life websites state.
Saline abortion is an outdated and no
longer performed procedure, but many pro
life sites state that it is still done.\
if you would like great informaiton from
abortion lcinics wesbites themselves..
this is a list of aboriton clinics and
their websites.
D&e abortion, which is done after 16+
weeks, is more graphic than an early
abortion, and those are the 'pictures'
that they are trrying to scare you with.
They are showing you pics of an abortion
that you would not even have :/
i work in a clinic, do you have any
questions or anything?

Caryfairy that is okay to say that at 6
weeks the fetus/embryo will look like this
and that but here we see ladies that are
performing abortions at 12 and 14 weeks as
much as we hear having them at 6 or 8
weeks. All abortions are not only done at
6 weeks so yes the more the fetus has
developed the more graphic, the more
crushed limbs are expected to be seeing.

no, we aren't. .The
overwhelming, vast .M.A.J.O.R.I.T.Y of all
abortions occurs at or
before 8 weeks gestational
age. .At this stage, the woman has
only been pregnant for 4-6 weeks.

once again, the number of
abortions performed at the later stages is
very, very small and because most
states have laws prohibiting later
abortions, those abortions were necessary to either save
the health or life of the .Woman or
because an unfortunate defect was
discovered in the fetus. .You have
to have a documented reason to obtain
an abortion so late. The .Women who
obtain them are saving their health and
life.
Again, let me just reiterate something
that I have found about the pictures.
#1. Most
of the more developed ones are of
stillbirths and late miscarriages.
in fact, one of the most popular ones (and
one I see outside of my clinic on protest
days), "malachai", has been reported, by
the doctor who performed it as a
stillbirth extraction. This was a very
wanted pregnancy and the fetus
unexpectedly died. The blood was not
flowing to all of its limbs which is why
they turned purple and black. The fetus
had to be removed to protect the .Woman's
life and health. It was photographed for
a medical journal and report. Someone
took the picture and began erroneously
attempting to pass it off as an
"abortion."
#2. The
less developed pictures are usually
photoshopped or completely false.
the one that comes immediately to mind is
the one with the tiny arm on/near the
quarter. Based on the size of the
quarter as a reference, a fetus' arm that
small would not have fully formed fingers
or skin. The "arm" in the photo does.
#3. Some
pictures have been stolen and photoshopped
anne geddes pictures. yes, the
more "moral" "prolife" movement stole anne
geddes' work and attempted to pass it off
as an "abortion." several "prolife"
websites have been reported for using her
popular photographs without permission and
for using them innappropriately.

Thanks you for your clarification... (uh
and debating?) I was quite upset when I
posted my posts so I wasn't keeping an
eyes on my wording. I am fully aware they
were extremist pro-life not pro choice
sites.
I want everyone to be aware that this main
particular site were not
legitimate, educational, informative
sites...
They played haunting music, had articles
about waiting until your wedding night
before having your first kiss, quotes
about escaping hell and that if you have
an abortion you and your unborn baby will
go to hell, several full term babies
stuffed in garbage bags, bloody vaginas
with tiny hands, crushed faces, legs, etc.
Falling out of the vagina into garbage
bags, articles about how they have to cram
baies down garbage disposals or if they
are too big and not in seperate pieces
trash compactors to dispose of their
bodies at the clinics, warnings that
clinics will sell your babies body parts,
warnings that they will perform fake
abortions on people who arent even
pregnant for $, warnings that they wont
tell you how far along you really are so
they can abort a more fully developed
baby, there was even an article by a
supposed Dr. Who said he used to perform
abortions until he held a clear sac in his
hand with a tiny person swimming around in
it doing somersaults and playing (i
pictured a sea monkey's commercial...) he
said it looked totally life like and real
and fully developed, not like a tadpole,
but once it died it changed form (okay?
Like an animorph kids cartoon?) and
looked like the pictures we see on real
educational sites of pregnancies at this
early stage...
Although some of the pictures may in fact
have been real, I assume they were from
illegal abortions, maybe in some other
country (some captions listed things like
"homicide in so and so place" extremely
small), or full term, they could have even
been pictures of still born babies. The
worst though were pictures of crushed,
decapitated, baby heads stuck on a gloved
fingers like finger puppets...
It doesn't matter anyhow, these were not
ligitimate pictures to go off of in
deciding on abortion.
*** I am not pregnant, I was 4 days late,
that is all. Whew, I am so relieved I do
not have to try and make some sort of
decision. I think due to this scare
though, I have come to the conclusion (not
because of that site) that in my life
right now an abortion wouldn't be
necessary... So I will be extra careful
to not get pregnant now that I know I
might not be comfortable with having an
abortion. Thanks all! Good luck and keep
up with all your wonderful support!

Holy freaking speculum, .Batman! This is
unbelieveable! I would love to take a
look at these sites and use them in
examples in research projects-lola, can
you pm me these sites? Or anyone else?
I guess I could look at them, but I want
to use actual sites someone who may have
been pregnant actually used to get
information. Thank you!

Wow, I feel ridiculously lucky that in my
research pre-abortion I didn't come across
any of that sort of thing. I can't
imagine what it would have done to my
already strained nerves.
I'm glad you don't have to make an active
decision lola. Take care of yourself
