Q: Numb Leg During Pregnancy

I am new to the board. My cousin is pregnant and the baby is laying on her siactic nerve. Her leg is numb. She went to the doc today and he told her it is common. She stays up all night crying because of the pain. We have to help her up off the sofa. She is 27 weeks pregnant.

Personally I have never heard of such.

Oh, I forgot, she called into the doc's office two weeks ago and they sent her to physical therapy - it didn't do any good. The doc didn't send her back though.

Any thoughts?
