I don't think that I would define it as a
lack of necessary knowledge. Everyone is
ignorant in some area or another. It's
not a bad thing. I wouldn't be offended
if someone called me ignorant. I am. I
am ignorant in many areas, rocket science
for one . Maybe it's a uk
thing? This different use of the word
ignorance?

then I guess, by your definition, we were
both ignorant of the other definition of
ignorant, and that we are both now a
little less so, having come across
something new today of which we differed
yet were both right.

Lucky girl! I speak english and spanish.
I can read french better than I can
speak it (my spoken french is horrible).
I agree with you that being fluent in a
romance language helps you translate other
romance languages. I can read a book in
french or italian and understand about 80%
of what is going on. I may miss some
fine details or some idiomatic expression
but I could definitely discuss the book
after! I didn't know that you spoke
italian (or french) so I was shocked.
And then when you told me that it's
exactly the same in italian I was even
more shocked. Italian and spanish are
ridiculously close (to my ear anyway) but
when I see the italian spelled out, (i see
the similarities, of course) there's
usually a difference in the spelling.

I really hate when I am so late to a post
(computer at home not working) that yall
have moved on to another topic
anyway here goes....
I hate people who are always late
i hate people telling me how to raise my
kids when they don't have any of their
own.
I hate judgemental people
i hate people who you only hear from when
they need/want something
i hate people who go into a incredibly
sermon when I say that I do believe in
.God but I don't believe in going to
church.
I hate people who get familiar too
quickly.
I hate people who ask too much or too
personal questions
i hate lazy coworkers
i hate women who keep their kids away from
"good" fathers just to spite the guy.
I hate when grown adults who amounted to
nothing in life, continuously blame their
"bad" childhood......You are not a child
anymore be an adult and take control of
your life.
I hate it when people use jokes to insult
you....Really just because you said it in
a joking way doesn't make it less
insulting.
I hate it when my husband goes against my
advice and gets us in a jam and then I
have to figue out a way to get us out of
it, because he is frigging clueless
i hate that people assume that I like
giving head just because my tongue is
pierced.... (i do like giving head
:d.....But my piercing has nothing to do
with it)
i hate that people look at my tatoos and
ask me why I got them......Do I ask you
why you don't have any?
I hate when I am doing someone a favor and
they act like they are the ones doing me a
favor
i hate ungrateful people
i hate that my back looks like a
incredibly dalmation since the ectopic.
I hate bosses that micro-manage
i hate hard water....It tangles my hair
and breaks out my skin
i think that's about it

I hate when you help people out, then when
you need help they ignore you.
Foxy, what do you mean by people who get
familiar too easily? When you say that I
think of those annoying a$s people who
meet you and in 5 minutes they act like
they are your best friend and have known
you for years.I hate that!
