I just had an abortion today at almost 18
weeks pregnant. It was the worst decision
ive ever had to make and im a mess over
it, but I just was not ready to bring a
baby into this world without having my
career started or being able to provide
everything this baby deserves. Anyway,
after they finished the abortion they
checked through an ultra sound screen kind
of thing I guess to make sure everything
was clear..And at first they cudnt find my
uterus and then they found it slightly
over to my right side. I asked if thats
okay, they said its fine, I did well and
everything is okay. Im just concerned
about it..Has anyone heard of this before?
I go to see my family doctor in 2 weeks
to make sure my cervix is closed and
everything and ill ask him then but this
is really bothering me right now! Any
help would be good. Thanks, take care!

having a uterus to one side, tipped
forward or backwards, etc, is a fairly
common occourence. Heck, in my family, it
is apparently a genetic thing to have two
uteruses... Odd!
I don't think this is something to be too
worried about, but you should always ask
the doctors questions when you discover
something new about yourself, so you know
whats up.

Hi poster, I am sorry that your
circumstances did not allow for a baby,
but I believe abortion is an ok choice and
would never judge!
Tipped uteruses are actually common, mine
is a retroverted uterus, tipped backwards.

Abortion and fertility problems are so
rare nowadays.
Unsterile conditions, and nasty infections
back during back alley aboriton days, we
causes of infertility.
Miscarriages are done the same way as an
abortion, suction...
Yet you do not hear doctors telling the
women "oh no, you will be infertile!".
They tell women to keep trying after
miscarriages..
