Sharp Pains On the Right Sideo F My Head Posted: 02-05-04 16:47pm


I have had sharp pains on the right side of my head for 5 months now, it comes and goes. When it comes the pain lasts about few seconds then leaves, but then I will have a soar spot on that side for days, like a dull pain that wont go away for days. I try taking advil or tylenol and it helps temporarily but my then comes back again. It always is on the same spot every time.

Hi eileen, this past feb 3, was my 5 year anniversary..........I had a brain anuresym. I can't begin to explain the pain I had, and not sure if you are even experiencing the same, but, my point is, go to a neurologist and let them run a cat scan to make sure this it not something that needs attention now. I had no idea until I passed out while driving, crashed my car into a tree, they found out an artery had burst in my head, I had to have brain surgery and they put in a titanium clip. Lost a couple months of my life, but I do appreciate the most important things in life now. Not trying to scare you hon, I just know how important family and friends are now, and if advil and aleve doesn't help, its time to see someone who can explain this to you! Keep us posted! 5 months is a long time to wait. Please write me and let me know what you find out! God bless you and keep you!
