Well ladies I found out I am with child this week and I am happy. I haven't decided to tell anyone as yet until I am for sure. I took the hpt and I called the doctor and they told me I should wait until the 10 week to make an apt.

Anyway I am happy of the news I got this week, a bit scared and worried but very happy.
This is my first so the joy is inside jumping up and down while the outside is calm so people would not pick up as yet. Smile

any mothers out there who wants to give their opinions on what to expect and what ishould do until.

Thanks

Hi sue. Congrats on the wonderful news.

I am almost 10 weeks along and haven't really experienced the mood swings yet. I have had some major morning sickness though. There for a few days I thought I was dying!!!! It's a little better today, hope it stays that way.

Hi sue (congrats by the way!),

the emotions are completely normal. The thing to look out for the most is the morning sickness. I will be 16 weeks on monday, and I had morning sickness from weeks 6-14. I didn't throw up every day, but I did feel like crap every day. If the prenatal vitamins are too much for you (they can cause nausea and diarrhea), you can take the flinstones multi-vitamins (my doctor suggested it).

Congrats again!

if you decide to go this route, don't forget to supplement with folic acid....The flintstone vitamins don't have enough need, I also reember someone else mentioning iron as well.

Congratulations sue!

Thanks guys!!!!

I have not experience the sickness yet. I heard ppl don't always exp. It. I hope I am one of those , lol.

The prenatals are fine, but I do feel a little cramp pains. Not too big but more like gas moving lol. The farting signs has begun.

No but strange thing is I feel I should eat but I feel full sometimes.
I am having these strange feelings my baby is crying because I am not eating enough sound strange?

It is so scary preparing to be a mother.
I am only 4 weeks according to the babycenter.Com chart. But technically I am around 2 weeks.

Should I be feeling this way.

I took a home test and positive of course, but when I called to see the doctor and I told them what took place the nurse told me I should wait until I am 10 weeks to make an appt.

Why is that?

Hi congrats! We are about the same! I am slightly over 4 weeks!
My dr won't make an appt until 8-10 weeks along. I think because they can hear the heartbeat then. I am going this monday though for a blood hormone level test to try an put my mind at ease that everything is ok!
I had to ask for it though.
I get those little crampy type things too, nothing real bad and not all the time though. And my nipples already are very sensitive! I brush my shirt against them and I am like woah!
So I guess that is a good sign for me... I feel more hungry than usual but that might just be my mind making me think that I need to be!
