Hey everyone I just a ? Say you have sex at the begining of the month with out protection...If she was pregnant would she have the period she is supposed to have at the end of the month which is supposed to happen 2 weeks after that or would that be the missed period?

If she got pregnant during the time she was ovulating (which is typcially 2 weeks after the begining of a period) then two weeks after that (or 4 weeks after the begining of her last period) is when she'd skip (or have very light bleeding as this is called implantation bleeding.)

make sense??

Sounds like you had unprotected sex during her fertile time.

High five!

if you concieved 2 weeks before her expected period (her most fertile time), she would miss her upcoming period.

If she was taking her birth control pills when she was supposed to everyday, then chances of getting pregnant are unlikely.

When I first started taking birth control a along time ago, I was told that the first month, I was not protected and I needed to use back up.

But like I said, there's always a chance, but with bc pills, a very tiny miniscule one

Well if she's on the pill it's not unprotected then, is it?

I don't think *you're* understanding... 2 people have already told you if she conceived during her fertile time, then yes, she'll miss her upcoming period!

When did she start taking birth control? Because some kinds of birth control take quite some time to actually start working....

&.If that's the case, &her birth control isn't working effectively yet, &you had sex 2 weeks before her period is due.. That's the *average* time a woman would be ovulating.. &.That means there's a high risk for pregnancy.

Even if she's on birth control, you guys should still use condoms.

You can get condoms that aren't made with latex. &.You might want to check up on how long it takes her kind of birth control to start working effectively. My sister's (.I don't know what kind she takes) took 2 or 3 months to start working.

nope Exclamation

ovulation is typically about 2 weeks before your next period is due.
It only works out two weeks after if you have a 28 day cycle.

Once you ovulate the follicle (now called corpus luteum) on the ovary produces progesterone for approx 10-14 days. It is the drop in progesterone that causes your period to start.

Say you had a 35 day cycle you are more likely to ovulate around day 21 than day 14.

Ovulation is genreally 2 weeks prior to your next period regarldess of how long your cycle is...The luteal phase usually is more consistant even with longer cycles.
