Dog Bite

Well last night my sister got into a fight with my mother and started screaming.Well, whtney doesn't like fighting or hitting or anyhting of that nature so she started barking at them.My sister got pissed off and tried to kick whitney. She has kicked whitney in the throat and stomache before but whitney never did anything.I guess she was at her last straw cause she bit my sister in the leg.She has 3 puncture wounds but they aren't bad. I took pics but i'll post em on monday. She went to the hospital but didn't get stitches and now whitney is on house arrest. That angers me off. . .

if you'll notice this board is filled with topics that have nothing to do with pregnancy... You can always ignore off-topics if they upset you... Rolling Eyes

i'm inclined to agree with everyone who has expressed an opinion here, it wasn't the dog's fault. It was your sister's. Poor whitney! Get her some good doggie treats and give her lots of love!!

Because she went to the hospital doesn't that mean they had to report whitney to whoever it is they report "animal attacks" to?

Poor whitney. Sad

well my father (who took my sister to the hospital) didn't report her.I told him to tell the doctor it was my dog and she hadd her shots so they wouldn't give my asister any shots for rabies or anything. Then the hospital called animal control and they called me at 7 thismorning! Thank god was already up for work or he would have got the answering machine.

Anywho,a little explanation of my sister, she is emotionally handicapped and edgucable mentally handicapped,so she is about 13 in her head (she's 19),but still she knows right from wrong and what you can and can't do.I have told her several time what would happen if she kept kicking her.Whitney is only on house arrest for 10 days, don't know why its only 10 but hey,its better than getting her taken away!

Florida must have tough dog laws... I think the laws here are more dog friendly...

hahah, nope! We decided since my sister has anger problems that when we think there will be a fight we need to lock her (the dog) in a room so she wont go after her.My sister is just aso violent sometimes its annoying. I guess i'm gonna need to get a second job so I can afford my own place and go to school at the same time.I don't know how the hell i'm gonna manage that.

I think she needs to go to a group home. She is just too much for my family to handle and it getting rediculous. I think it's the fact that she wants to be on her own ad make her own money but she can't right now so she's throwing an adult tantrum

Does she work? I'm sure they have programs out there to help her out and stuff. If people/animals are going to be hurt, something needs to be done.

I hope everything works out mel. Good thing whit is only on house arrest too!
