I Lost My Baby
Posted: 01-19-07 10:19am

I woke up a few minutes ago in blood. I went to the bathroom and knew what happened. The baby came out and is in the toilet. I knew knew this was going to happen. If you look at my posts early on, I never felt completely pregnant. I even saw the baby on an ultrasound at 7 weeks. We went to the doctors a little while ago and I heard the heartbeat. The heartbeat was faint but the doctor said that was alright. I guess I won't be posting on here anymore unless I get pregnant again. The horrible thing is I always figured it won't happen to me. Don't we all??

The doctor's office opens in 30 minutes. Do I need to rush to the emergency room because I was bleeding. Yes, I am/was 13-14 weeks pregnant. I can't believe I have to say was. It hasn't hit me yet. I am pissed, though. I had cravings, my boobs hurt, we were getting prepared.

Oh, I am so so sorry. I miscarried at 13 weeks so I kind of know how you feel, you think you're out of the woods by then and I think it makes it just a little bit worse.

We're all here for you if you need to talk. You can also pm me if you want. I'm so sorry.

The doctor gave me a pill a week ago for my yeast infection. It was one pill and was supposed to clear it up. Do you think that killed my baby? I will always wonder that. It was my obstetrician who prescribed it. Also, the heartbeat was very very faint and he didn't seem worried. I am a small person, there are not a lot of places the baby can hide.

I did think I was out of the woods. I still have some hope that the ultrasound missed twins and I will found out I am still carrying one. Typical grief response. I don't feel like it was me. I feel like this is a dream - a bad one. At least others can relate.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news! I think you should get yourself to the doctor, just in case.

Big hugs Sad

Meggan, you are right - I still have the baby. My water did break and I am on bedrest hoping that I will seal. The chances are quite high that I will miscarry, but I am still hoping for the best. The chances are higher because I am only 13 weeks. Doesn't make it less hard. I saw the baby on an ultrasound...Moving, had a strong heartbeat and looks so beautiful. I have another ultrasound on monday. I will be posting in the pregnancy forum with the update. If this ultimately ends up in a miscarriage, I will be posting here.

Thank you all
