So i'm babysitting my cousins 18 mth old,
she's a beautiful kid , so sweet and smart
, but she definately has her days. Today
is one of them , she's very frustrated and
on edge today I finally just got her down
for a nap the poor thing was crying so
hard but couldnt keep her eyes open , but
of course fought going to sleep until the
end. My concern is as much as I love her
and as much fun as I have watching her, I
do find myself also getting frustrated and
impatient sometimes. I don't get mad at
her of course but still even getting
frustrated makes me feel terrible, i'm
just worried in five months when I have my
little guy he's gonna have bad days and
i'm just gonna lose it with him. I would
never get angry at a child , but I want
all the patience with my baby and i'm just
scared that i'm not gonna be cut out for
this

Aww hun you'll be fine with your lil one.
Everyone elses kids are different then
actually having your own. I get
frustrated at my neice and nephew
sometimes, it's normal, but I still love
them to death. It's ok.

Its ok as long as you don't harm them or
scream at them.If you feel at any time
that you might do something wrong, walk out
and let them cry for a bit.

Just know that in five months when your
little one has his days, the next day will
always be better. That is all you can do
really.

Everyone gets frustrated and impatient,
it's natural. It's how you handle the
situation when you're frustrated and
impatient that matters.

It's totally normal to get frustrated.
There's days I want to rip my hair out of
my head and scream and punch things.
That's usually when I go outside for a
smoke. Just remember to walk away.
(leave them where they can't hurt
themselves-crib, swing, jumper) or call
someone.
