Okay so about a month ago i found out i was pregnat with my frist baby and they had me to do some blood work and i did well i got the results and all the test came back okay except for one, that one said that i have HVP. the doctor told me that they can check what stage iIm at but they cant take any sample's of skin untill after the baby and thats fine. but im more worried about the baby will my baby be born normal and healthy, or will he or her have this when it's born as well ? and after the baby when they do more test on me is HVP cureable ? if anyone has any answers to my questions please help, cause I'm really confused ?

HPV (human papiloma virus) is not dangerous for the baby but it could be a danger for you. Some serotypes of HPV attack the cervical mucosa (genital warts) and can cause dysplasions (precancerous lesions). You can request a colposcopy with a Pap-test to confirm or exclude cervical dysplasia. A HPV-infection is treated locally by destroying warts with a laser, ice or corrosive substances.
