Missed Pills And Confused Posted: 01-19-07 12:52pm
Ok I forgot to take my pill last night so
this morning I opened my pack to take it
and noticed that I forgot to take
wedensdays pill as well. So I missed
wedensday, and thursdays pill. So I took
both pills and im wondering do I take my
fridays pill this evening as usual or do I
wait until tomorrow and take friday and
saturdays. Very confusing. I never
forget my pills but ive been really busy
and didnt even think about it. I wasent
sure if taking three pills in one day
would be bad or not. Anyway hopefully
one of you ladies can help me out thanks.
Oh and im talking tricyclen lo.

Here is what you do..
Straight from ortho low package
if you miss three "active" pills in a row
during any of the first 3 weeks, throw out
the rest of the pack and start a new pack
on the same day if you are a day 1
starter. If you are a sunday starter,
keep taking a pill every day until sunday.
On sunday, throw out the rest of the pack
and start a new one that day.
• if you miss two or more pills, you
may not have a period during the month.
If you miss a period for two months in a
row, call your doctor because you might be
pregnant.
Day 1 starter means that you started the
pill on your period. Sunday start means
you started the pill not on your
period.(even if it was not an actual
'sunday')
so you basically need to throw out a pack
and start a new one, or keep taking the
rest until sunday and start a new pack.
Yes you would take 3 pills in one day,
that is not 'dangerous', although it will
cause nausea.
You need to wait to have sex. You must
wait at least 7 days to have sex. You
need 7 full days of regular bc pill use to
be protected.
