I'm trying to get pregnant and this
morning I noticed that my nipples have
white spots on them just like they did
with my first pregnancy.
I'm about a week late on my period. could
I be pregnant?

White spots on the nipples could indicate
nothing abnormal, a period that is one
week late could be a serious sign of
pregnancy. A late period is the first
serious sign of early pregnancy but is not
always related to pregnancy so a late
period must also be confirmed by a
pregnancy test. You can take a home
pregnancy test to confirm or exclude
pregnancy, and if positive, follow up at
the gynecologist's office with blood test
and an ultrasound confirmation of the
pregnancy.
