When I go outside and walk anything that
is touching my skin (clothes, socks) gets
my skin itching horribly. This can also
happen without clothes touching (like when
running at a beach). I can't do any
outdoor sports or run. Sometimes even
indoors i'll get attacks like if someone
rubs my shoulders. I take clairnex for
allergies which makes it more bearable
(otherwise the itching is painful to where
I want to almost cry, and my skin gets
swollen and a little red). When I
scratch I get swollen red lines like when
someone who is allergic to cats gets
scratched by one. I use detergents that
are made for sensitive skin and am very
careful about skin products. Has anyone
heard of this type of allergy?

No offense..... But does anyone have a
reply that does not offer to sell me
supplements? I asked a serious question
and would love advice if anyone has it.
I see a dermatologist this friday.

It sounds like you have what I have.
Dermagraphia (or Dermatographia) is also
known as "skin writing". Your body is
having an allergic reaction to itself. I
know it sounds ridiculous but there it is.
That is why clarinex seems to make it
liveable.
Go see a dermatologist. He may prescribe a
combination of H1 and H2 blockers.
