I read in a book recently (fiction) that a
boy had come down with scarlet fever when
he was young. When he became an adult,
he was told by a doctor that he was
sterile, due to him having scarlet
fever?
Is there a grain of truth in this?
Can a woman be similarly affected?

I honestly do not know, but will look into
it. I hope not, I had scarlet fever last
year!
