Strange Reaction to Blood Test ... Posted: 02-06-04 00:18am
Hello. I recently had a blood test, and
a few minutes afterward, the middle joint
of my pinkie became swollen, numb, and
almost black. After several hours, my
finger was normal again. How could the
blood test have caused this? There was
no bruising from the needle, and the test
itself wasn't unusual. I have end-stage
renal disease. Could this have anything
to do with it? Any help is appreciated.
