Lately I have been feeling my baby move
further down in my stomach I still do
feel it move all over the place but now im
just feeling more movement
down by my hips than I did before. Do
you think that my baby dropped already?
I will be 38 weeks on thursday also I
asked my doctor if my baby dropped and if
it was in the head down position and she
really didnt say too much. She was just
like well I feel a big bum right here and
she was touching
in between my ribs where my stomach was
so what is that supposed to mean that it
dropped or if it is in the head down
position? Grr im just staring to get so
annoyed she wouldnt even check me to see
if I was dialted or effaced at my last
appointment she said that she wont do it
until my due date
i just want my baby to come out already

that is a completely normal feeling! But
pregnancy is 40 weeks for a reason.
Some doctors don't ever check for dilation
and effacement, and knowing that you are
dilated or effaced before your due date
doesn't do anything anyway. It doesn't
predict when you'll go into labor
or even how soon you'll be having your
baby.
'dropping' is also meaningless as some
women never drop. It sounds as if your
doctor was telling you the baby was in the
head down position. That is good news!
Good luck. These last few weeks seem long
and tiring, but they are a small price to
pay for your child's well being for the
rest of their life

by so quick! But now that it is getting
closer it seems like it is taking forever
im just getting impatient because I want
to see my baby

I can't really tell you if the baby
dropped. But as for the Dr. Checking
you, be glad she didn't I think it was
more of a disappointment when she checked
me and said I hadn't made any progress!!
It would be better not knowing! Its
getting close and it will come soon
enough, best of luck.
