Thanks natalia for that site the foru, ive been readinga ll the other posts, prob read alot more since its another one of those nights lol of no sleep, I was talking to hubby about the acid reflux , he was asking what u can do for it iwas like take em to the dr and get em on meds , I think he was wishing there was something we could do now lol. But it sucks because even so I cant get her to the dr this week. Hubby has my car and I dont know how long , they do appointments same day so I cant like make one for a diff day then he can get off , hes out in the range all week shooting too. They are training right now in case they go to afghanistan. I think I might print out the symptom list from that site and bring it when I do get to the dr wich hopefully the sooner the better. I already got dark circles under my eyes lmao.

If you are unable to attend because of work commitments they have to fit you in on another day, you have to be able to give your employer notice that you will be absent.

Alternatively as they are same day appts only, he could book any day of and you could make an appt for that day.

Why don't you ring and speak to someone, tell them what you think /feel and ask for advice on making appts if they think this or that and so on.
They might even be able to tell you of an over the counter med that you could try to begin with.

yeah but they are limited on otc meds they have in the grocery store and somet they have at the pharmacy since they arent available at the commisary. Im not sure if they require an appt for a prescription though. So weird here gah wheres my walgreens when I need it lol. They used to be able to make appts farther out but they changed it since normally people call when they are sick and by the time youd be seen u wouldnt be anymore. Hopefully hubby can get a day off or something to get an appt in. I still gotta do my post partum one but thats not as important as her being seen. Sinc ei couldnt do it the same day since who knows how long we would be at the clinic the pediatrician is never on time with patients. But jason knows that if it is acid reflux tht pretty much we need to go to the drs to get it figured out. They have ashuttle bus, on base only, sorry my typin sucks imholding her and shes asleep but igot the boppy pillow too so im sitting all akward. They got taxis here, but haha I do not know how to call one. Ive only ever taken one once at the train station wich they got like 50 outside the place just sitting there. Ive talkedt o the drs before abotu my gallbladder thing . Wich for mine I couldnt be seen at the clinic and they told me to jsut wait until the pain returned and go to the er and get checked for gallstones wich I went trhough symptoms over the phone of what ihad and what I read . So im sure they would agree it kinda sounds like acid reflux. Im just not sure if they would wanna diagnose based on symptoms since she is gaining weight fine as of jan 17 she is 10lbs 6oz and is now 4 weeks old. Or if they would wanna run tests cuz idont think they have equipment there for certiain tests

i wish, if we livd in base housing on the base and not outside the base id have a bus, they have shuttle busses that go all over the base but thats just it only one base.

For all iknow the breastfeeding could be the cause, who knows . There might be certain foods etc but im not sure. Alot of the times it is dairy but I dont have alot of dairy in my diet as it is. So im supposed to be tryin to take more dairy in not eliminate it. Somehow I think that the dr will ask about my diet etc and blame it on that and not figure out for sure because I know with adiet change it can be weeks or longer before the cryings gone when u play the elmination game of figuring out whats causing it but my diet hasnt changed since she was born really. Its like the same with my gallstones they say certain foods trigger it but I can eat that food I thought caused it without problems , sometimes iend up in pain sometimes not . But I supplemented formula with the same affect. It seems like now when u try and lay her on her back is when she screams alot , but shes usually quiet while your chaning a diaper.
The game of trying to figure out whats wrong with your child lol. I just hope if I got o the dr soon the dr just doesnt tell me its all normal because idont think it is, I didnt think it was with my son either but back then I never thought of acid reflux just knew of colic, and he had thrush quite a few times.

I hope your hubby can get a day off soon so you guys can get to the doctor... It has to be hard living in a different country, not having anyone to help & no friends/family around to help you out. I think you're strong for just not going completely insane because if I was in your position, I know I would be!!

Good luck with everything!

its not so bad, we are 8 min from the base, I wo uld hate if we lived farther out, the only place I go is on base and ive driven to the hospital by myself when I was pregnant for my prenatal appts. I hate driivng offbase alone in case something happens I wouldnt know what to do not knowing german or anything. Id freak out. Im just hoping he either gets a day off or gets his car fixed asap. I cant even go to the store and get milk and juice that we are out of right now and last night he didnt come home till like 9:30pm

I think that you need to advise your husband that your children are the most important things in your lives right now and not having milk and juice for them is just wrong. He needs to make arraingements to take the little on to the doc and also to the store for food for the babies.

I didnt think about taking him to work etc but I think that would be really hard to do it takes forever to get 2 kids ready to go anywhere, supposedly ill have my car the first, he got off early or normal today and went to the grocery store and got milk and juice so yay, all I had was water and koolaid in the house. So I gotta wait till next month for my post partum. Jordynne slept last night Smile she fell asleep on me and I carefully went to thebedroom with her and she stayed asleep. Right now she is finally asleep in the bouncy chair, I wanna move her to the bed or something but im afraid she will wake up screaming.
Hubby better hope we dont get all 12-14 inches of snow overnight. We dont own a snow shovel lol he will have to dig the car out with his hands lmao.
