Question For All You Mommies!
Posted: 01-22-07 19:15pm

Hi, so I am newly pregnant and am so paranoid. So I was wondering if anyone ever got what almost feels like burning in the abdomen area sometimes?? Maybe it is stretching but it feels like burning.... I guess it could be gas too. I don't know, I am just so nervous!!!!
Thanks!

No I don't think so. Not in my belly anyway. I would get horrible heartburn later on in the pregnancy and near the end my entire stomach around my belly button was numb, but no burning. Confused Maybe it's excitement!!! Smile no really i'm not too sure what it oculd be. Sorry!

I know it is weird! I am going to ask the dr tomorrow when they call and give me my hcg results though. It feels like heartburn but a lot lower. Hopefully it is nothing...

Ok, so I didn't get to ask my dr about it since I was in the lunch room at work when she called! But I talked to a co-worker and she said when she was pregnant she did feel heartburn low like that. And I noticed now that it happens after I eat! So I guess that is it!
My test results were good! So as of now I am going along great!
She even said my progesterone was really high and it made her think there might be 2..... Which I don't care as long as I have a helthy baby!!!

Were you taking fertility meds? They've been known to increase the odds of conceiving multiples.

When is your first ultrasound?

Hi! Yes I was on clomid, so I know there is a higher chance of twins with it!
That would be crazy to have twins but I would be ok, my husband on the other hand.... I am not telling him the dr said that!
My first u/s is in 2 weeks, feb 6th. I am excited!
