been diagnosed with fibromyalgia but starting to ask myself... Posted: 03-26-08 10:34am
Hello There,
I'm Melanie.
It's been over a year now that my body is
acting up ,
swollen feet,migraine headaches,severely
in pain from my head to my toes,
insomnia,sensitivity to
light, depression, you mention it, i have it
type of idea!
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia
its almost been a year now,I have applied
to disability which refused me over and
over but now have a disability lawyer who
takes care of it all, after being refused
three times i am now at the social benefit
tribunal,my chances are at maximum at the
tribunal.Once you make it there your
chances are very high to win.How i deal
with my pain, now is another story, i take
apo-amitryptaline 10 mg and percocet for
pain,
which doesnt help very much.At this point
of my life i am not about to give up!
WE ALL NEED TO TRY BEING POSITIVE AS MUCH
AS WE CAN,
you will say '' easy to say'' and i know
what you mean.
I have a SECRET i would like to share with
everybody on this site!
I have found the difference between a
physician and a homeopathy doctor who
works with natural cures, the physician is
there to treat symptoms and the homeopathy
doctor is there to find the cause!
I contacted a homeopathy doctor and she
took the time to explain every lil
details on how the body acts and how
toxins are affecting it and finally
explain to me that she could make it all
go away!
I thought about what she said for a month
now and i believe she is right.
I am not a doctor, don't get me wrong but
if homeopathy works its my last chance, i
am getting worst and worst every day
trying not to lose my mind.My advice to
you is to do research on homeopathy and
you will find out amazing things,be open
minded about it,just in case of.
I will write back after my homeopathy
treatments to tell you how things went and
hopefully to tell you there is more hope
about getting these nasty diseases out of
our lives.
all the love to you surviving with pain
and disease.

Lupus vs fibro Posted: 07-01-08 00:19am
I am 21 years old. I have been living with
fibromyalgia since I was 14 years old and
got dx finally at 16. I had to leave my
high school when i was 17 because the
fluroescent lighting made me very sick so
I had to do correspondence. I'm highly
photosensitive. I've had ANAs done so many
times and dsDNA and Lupus workup and
everything. Nothing has shown up. But now
I'm in a flare-up. I was hospitalized
around a month ago, they think it's
endometriosis going through my system. Or
that I have an endocrine disease.
What worries me is what happened to
me the day I got admitted into the
hospital. In the ER waiting room I was
under the fluorescents for 4 hours. I
started having rashes around 10 minutes
after I got under them. After 4 hours
though I started having trouble breathing
and my back was all broken out in
red, raised rashes and all over my body.
Then just last week I was going into
the college to drop some papers off and I
was waiting in line for like 1 1/2 to 2
hours at the most. My hearing went then my
sight went weird and I was seeing all
kinds of flying things and then I was in
slow motion and my mom said my lips went
from white to dark blue and I was as white
as a sheet. I could not comprehend
anything I thought I was going to pass out
or even die. I just wish they would figure
out what's wrong because I know for sure
it isn't fibromyalgia making me this
photosensitive. Does anyone else have a
photosensitivity problem to fluorescents
this bad?
