Are you sure you want to put your baby in that dress, I think she will be uncomfortable but just a thought.

You look great!

No offence, but bringing home a newborn in a frilly dress and dressy shoes is not very practical. I would recommend a onsie and maybe some pants over it if its chilly where you are.

Thanks.

Its a tradition in my family. All girls in my family has been brought home in one so im not going to break it. I already asked my doc about it because of her cord and she said its fine since I only live 3 mi away from the hospital. Its not like shes going to be in it all day. Just for her pics and ride home. Everybody brings their baby home in dresses and suits in the city where I live. Atleast thats what the photos show at the hospital. Lol

You have every excuse to be lazy. Take all your time now to be as lazy as you want. When the baby arrives, you may sometimes wish for the lazy days back...Especially the first few months. It is such an incredible experience but I felt like I was primarily a milk factory. When I got done feeding, it seemed nathan was hungry again. It is all worth it. Soak up that sleep now, if you can!!!

Good idea about the dress size and the cord.

I have letters just like that for .Amelia's room. Your room is almost set up like mine lol.....A lot of pink.

It's tradition in our family to bring your babies home in a cute little dress, so I brought a dress for her and well she cried and cried and cried that I got a pict of her in it and then took her out of it. I didnt' want to irritate my little new born baby. I got a premature dress for her and it was still huge....The new born shoes still don't fit her little feet and she is 6 months old now. Luckly I brought a comfy little onsie and put it on her before we left the house. So make sure you have a back up plan because I am sure you won't want a fussy baby all the way home from the hosp.
