for two years the center of my forehead
has been terribly sore. It's tender to
touch. And the area just beneath and to
either side will burn as if this sore spot
was bleeding acid into the surrounding
area.
I've been to a gp, ent, neurologist,
acupuncturist, and a couple of
dermatologists. They don't seem to know
anything about it. I've had a ct
scan, mri and mra and been told the
results were normal.
The only thing that eases the pain is
benadryl antihistamine. Two of the
above docs had mentioned the drying effect
of antihistamine, maybe this
is why it helps by drying up whatever is
leaking under there. But it doesn't
last for long.
Whatever is going on is under the surface
as my skin appears normal
when I look in the mirror.
