Annoying Discomfort Along Lower Right Rib Cage? Posted: 01-30-07 11:47am
For about 4-5 months now I have had an
annoying discomfort along the lower part
of my right rib cage. It all began when
I had gone on a diet and started
exercising. I lost close to 30lbs in
about 2 1/2 months. Anyway, I have no
pain,it is just very annoying like there
is something poking me and it could show
up one minute on my hip side then on my
front side and then sometimes around the
line of the rib cage in the back. It all
depends on how I am sitting or laying on
how it feels. When I yawn or take a deep
breath I can feel a sensation like around
the gall bladder location or lower, like
it is weak or sensitive to the air intake
(hard to explain) no pain! Just very
uncomfortable and annoying. Btw I have
had an ultrasound to see if it was kidney,
gall bladde or liver related, test came
back normal. I also have been battling
vertigo lately. Can anybody please help
me with this?

My Symptoms Described Exactly Posted: 12-30-07 22:26pm
I suspect(still researching) the colon
discomfort is due to diet drinks due to
the artificial sweeteners, aspartame,
sorbitol, etc. I suspect this as the
timing of my symptoms can be directly
linked to shortly after switching to diet
soda to lower blood trigliceride levels.
Since you'd gone on a diet I presume the
diet includes sugar substituted
foods/drinks. Unrelated, I've had vertigo
which was due to high stress and lack of
sleep. So, if you're stressing over
health issues, and not sleeping, this
could be the cause of the vertigo.
