Not really. If this is a second or third pregnancy, you might feel it sooner but 12 weeks is preeeeettttty early to be feeling kicks.

Lmao, .B!!!

12wks is definitely too early to feel the baby. I didn't feel my son move until I was about 16wks.. But more-so when I was about 18wks I started feeling him a whole lot.

maybe my baby has severe flatulence.
My gas can feel so much like the baby fluttering and I think it's the baby until a few moments later - poof. Dang it...Those moments are so nice until reality hits!

Tracy,

i hope you don't feel my post was mocking....That gas thing is just so true right now. Even tonight I really thought I felt the baby, little fluttering (i am 15 weeks now), and I got so excited......Then it happened again...Poof!

You will feel the baby in no time!!! When you do, it is the best experience during pregnancy. That is, until you reach 8 months and the baby decides to kick your ribs, bladder and other parts and causes some pain...

Has she seen a doctor for prenatal care? If she has a doctor will be able to tell her roughly how far advanced she is...
