Im Aged 15 And I Think I Might Be Pregnant. Posted: 01-31-07 21:53pm
Hey, im 15, and although illeagal me and
my boyfriend have been having sex. A
couple of times, we have been really horny
but havnt had protection with us, but we
had sex anyway. I havnt missed a period
yet, but ive had thicker discharge, and
ive been feeling sick in the mornings,
also ive noticed that my stomach has been
looking a little bigger down low, and I
remember from when my auntie was in the
early stages of pregnancy she had this too
and she told me it was because of the
fluid. Im really worried, cause I dont
want to have a baby at this early stage of
life. But I dont think I cope cope with
the procedure of an abortion. Also I know
that my boyfriend doesnt want to have a
baby yet. Although we want to have
children in the future. I know ive been
stupid so please dont tell me that. Just
I dont know what to do. And im worried
that if I do miss a period, it means im
going to have to tell my parents and I
know that they will be really angry
especailly my dad (who hits me sometimes)
and I dont want to have to go through an
abortion eeek please help!!!!

The only thing you an do right now is wait
to see if you miss a period and if you do,
then take a home pregnancy test.
My understanding is that the home
pregnancy tests now do not require you to
wait until you miss your period. Check
the labels... I believe you may be able
to take a home pregnancy test now. Also,
"morning sickness" can show the same
symptoms as the flu. There are other
possible explanations for what is
happening to you. On the otherside...
If you went to the hospital with your
symptoms, the very first thing that they
would do is give you a pregnancy test.
Good luck

Ok don't panic - everyone's done stupid
things at some point in their lives so
you're not alone!
it could well be that you're stressing
over the idea of being pregnant and that
is what is making you have 'symptoms'.
It's easy to think every little twinge is
pregnancy related if it's on your mind.
Best thing to do is take a test if your
period doesn't come when expected and if
it is positive then you will really have
to think hard about what you're going to
do. None of your options will be an easy
one. If it is negative then you really
need to get yourself down to your doc's
and get some contraception sorted out.
Don't just rely on condoms because it is
so easy not to bother.
When I was a bit older than you, I had the
.Implanon implant in my arm which lasts
for 3 years. It worked well for me,
although it did give me rather more
frequent periods than i'd have liked!
I'm just wondering if that or the .Depo
.Provera injection might be good ideas for
you because you might forget to take the
pill.
Anyway, try not to panic right now, just
don't have any more unprotected sex and
wait until your period is due.
Best of luck!

I agree with the others, take a test but
don't panic!
See if you can find a local sexual health
clinic and they will do it for free (plus
you can talk about getting the pill etc...
So you don't go through this again)
