Hi
Hi, my name is heather. I am 16 weeks now. I think you need to see the Dr. I was able to get signed up on medicaid. It pays for everything and when the baby gets here, it even pays for your baby when he/she needs to go to the Dr. You need to call a clinic and see if they can help you. I went to this place called a caring place. They got me set up with a Dr. And medicaid. Good luck and let me know how it goes. First 12 weeks is most important. No meds at all till after, no nothing. You need Dr. Care, they will also get you set up with an ultrasound to findout how far along you are. I had my first one when I was 6 1/2 weeks. I found out I was preggy when I was only 3 weeks. If you ever want to talk about anything

They do make the father pay back the medical expense of the baby. I was also on medicaid. It cost my bf over 4000 dollars to pay for birth expense. They will send him to court after baby is born and all costs are figured out. But make sure you go. He can make payments on birth expense aftre baby is born. But dont worry you really need to go.

When you go to the doctor and confirm that you are pregnant, they will have you speak to a social worker which will help you apply for medicaid. I never heard of a person having to pay it back , but in this world you never know. I believe you also have to make certain financial requirments. But if you are pregnant they rarely ever deny you medicaid. Don't be scared to tell your parents, at the risk of your babies health. If you think you parents are going to freak out, it won't make a difference when you tell them. They will still freak out even if you wait the four months, but is it worth chancing your babies health think about it. If your a teenager you could even ask your school counselor where there are those teen programs, they won't disclose any info. To any family member unless it's an emergancy. Good luck with everything and be careful.

Expenses
My childs father is on her birth certificate and he did not have to pay back the expenses the state aborbed it. If you receive welfare then they pay that back. It could all depend on the state you are in.
But when you apply for medicaid I would not lie because they can find out anything.
