Skin coloration around penis Posted: 02-03-07 10:54am
Alright, well I'm 16 years old, I'm still
a virgin and i have had this problem for a
while and it really worries me that it
could be something wrong with me. Anyways,
on the shaft of my penis toward the top (
I am circumsized) i have a brown ring that
goes around my penis. It's been there as
long as i can remember, and it doesn't
seem to be going away anytime soon, it
really makes my confidence go down a lot.
So Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

It is hard to diagnose a “brown ring
that goes around your penis” without
seeing it. Given the description, you
could be experiencing a pigmentation of
the penile skin. If the pigmentation is
not above the skin’s level, I don’t
see any problem. If the pigmentation is
raised above the skin’s level, then you
can consult a urologist for diagnosis and
treatment options.
