I don't think it's too late. Most places will perform abortions up to 20 weeks, and some places go as late as 24 weeks. I read your topic in the pro-choice forum - please do not let your parents pressure you into doing something you don't want to do. Not only are you a legal adult capable of making your own decisions, but it is your body and not anyone else's. If they don't like what you want to do, then tough noogies.

Unless i've got my geography wrong, abortion is illegal in .Ireland so i'm not sure how you will go about getting one Confused . In .England, you can get an elective abortion up to 24 weeks but I know that it can be more difficult to get two doctors to sign agreement to it after a certain gestation. It's not impossible though. Also, the .N.H.S has an average waiting time of 2-4 weeks for an abortion so you time is of the essence for you. You would probably have to pay privately; i'[m not sure the .N.H.S would cover you since you are not resident of .England, .Wales or .Scotland. I would say to go and see your doc but I don't know if that's possible considering where you live.

Are you absolutely sure you want an abortion? I only ask because you've left it quite late and most women know they want an abortion much earlier on than you are.

Here is some info on the procedure that you will likely need at your stage of pregnancy and the costs (having had a shifty round the web, it does seem that the .N.H.S will not cover you and you will have to pay privately):

from www.Channel4.Com/health

surgical dilatation and evacuation (d&e) (from about 15 weeks of pregnancy). The cervix is dilated and the pregnancy removed in fragments using a suction tube and forceps. This usually needs a general anaesthetic. You may be able to go home the same day if you are healthy and the pregnancy is less than 18 weeks.
Abortion after 20 weeks is uncommon and will involve one of the following two procedures. You will need to spend one or two nights in hospital.

Surgical two-stage abortion (from 20 to 24 weeks). A surgical two-stage abortion involves two procedures performed under general anaesthetic: firstly the cutting of the umbilical cord and a second procedure to remove the contents of the womb.
Medical induction (from 20 to 24 weeks). During a medical induction the fetal heart is stopped and drugs are used to induce premature labour.

Current costs start from around £350 (or £405 in london) but go up to £750 plus in the later stages of pregnancy.
