I'm about five weeks pregnant (first
time). I noticed on thursday when I wiped
there was a little bit of blood. I was so
scared I woke up every hour to check if I
had anymore bleeding but it was just that
one time. I just notice a little brownish
spotting every so often. I have my first
dr's appmt on wednesday. They told me I
shouldnt worry unless I have to put on a
pad and I soak it. Has anyone experienced
this too? Since this is my first
pregnancy every little thing makes me so
nervous.

Hi there, I honestly wudnt worry, I was
bleeding from about a week after
conception until about week 10, and im 17
weeks now. I even had black clots, and so
was very worried but I went in for 2
emergency scans and everything was fine so
that put my mind at ease. I would wear a
light sanitary towel every day and the
blood ranged in colour, from pink - red -
brown. Light bleeding is very common I
hear. If its gets heavy and u get painful
cramps, I wud see ur doctor asap hope this
helps!

Hey there. I'm 20 wks and this is alos my
first pregnancy. Light spotting can
happen a lot during pregnancy , and I
believe its more common early on.
I know exactly what you mean by the
nervous thing, I spotted a few times
during my first trimester and spazzed
every time. You should be fine , unless
like you said you can fill a pad or have
any pain or cramps. Then it's time to get
to emerg. Or to your doctor.
Try to relax, the calmer you are , the
clamer baby is and thats what will make
you feel most at ease.
