Lump (cyst?) on inside of groin Posted: 02-03-07 21:59pm
I have a lump on the inside of my thigh
right in my groin area. Its not on my
genitals or anything. It hurts when i
walk sometimes because my legs are rubbing
against the lump. I talked to someone who
said it may be something called a cyst.
If it is a cyst, which we think it is, is
there any way i can treat it without going
to the docters. Please help.
Thankyou.
According to the description of a lump in
the groin area, you might be experiencing
a localized skin infection, perhaps a
furuncle. Sebaceal cysts in the skin
(atheroma) are also possible but these
types of cysts hurt only when inflamed.
However, you'll need correct diagnosis and
a physical examination of the area to do
so. You'll have visit your primary health
provider or a dermatologist to follow up.
