Is My Boyfriend Sterile? Or Could It Be Me?

Confused

My boyfriend & I have been together for almost a year. We have a great deal of unprotected sex & every time he orgasms in me. I know that I am fertile because I have been pregnant once before many years ago. Unfortunately, due to some medication I was taking at the time & given the severe damage they do to a growing fetus, I opted for an abortion. I had no complications afterwards & my period returned back to normal within two months timing. I used birth control for nearly 2-yr's, but have been off of it for over a year now.

I really don't think it's me. I haven't spoken to a doctor yet, but plan to if I do not conceive in the near future. My boyfriend & I have the most sex around the time my period ends, which I believe is a woman's most fertile time-frame.

We're not dedicated to making a baby, it's not our main goal, but we wouldn't mind a little bundle of joy. We're serious about one another & very much in love. I am 25-yr's of age & he is 26-yr's of age. We'll be moving into our very own house come the end of july.

We've spoken about marriage & the thought of it makes me happy. But I can't help but worry he's sterile. It wouldn't change my feelings for him. However, I know it might cause future problems. I come from a big family & since I was little it has always been a huge dream of mine to carry my own child & experience the joy & miracle of giving birth.

Any advice would greatly help here. Thank you.
